Transition Presteigne
Transition is an organisation that works to increase reliance on a green economy by publicising practical sustainable solutions to everyday issues, like access to grants for insulation, recycling and all its complications, protecting wildliife and attempting to grapple with the climate emergency; and by running stalls at events such as community fairs.
Recently we have been working together with the Spaceguard Observatory to make Presteigne the first Dark Skies Community in England and Wales, an aim which we are proud of having very nearly achieved.
We hold an open meeting at 7:30pm on the first Thursday of the month in the Duke's Arms in Presteigne. We can add you to our email list.
