Mike Slater manages, designs and develops websites and software for business owners, sole traders and charities. Mike runs business email and writes smart software. And websites operating every day since April 2000.
Since 1989 he has also worked on many environmental, conservation projects in north Lancashire, Oxfordshire and in Costa Rica where he ran projects to help school kids visit and appreciate the wonderful cloud forests.

Seren Web Environmental Statement. By utilising the latest technology evaporative cooling system and transformers our main datacentres in Maidenhead and Coventry achieve a PuE or power usage efficiency of just 1.19. This means that for every 1MW of IT load only 1.19MW of power is required to power our systems.
This makes our servers one of the most energy efficient in the UK thus reducing environmental impact and ultimately minimising running costs. Our US server and service company uses 100% renewable energy only to power their systems and is committed to minimising their business environmental impacts. Seren Web's main office is in a new build designed to require minimal heating or aircon and energy usage is extremely low. Where possible, almost all meetings are now held remotely and travel, particularly car usage, has been considerably reduced.
